Our Work

ReAct’s work is built around three pillars:

Access to Remedy

Developing community paralegal programmes and building legal clinics to improve access to remedy.

Capacity Building

Worker representatives and NGOs leverage ESG and Business and Human Rights tools to secure decent work.

Research & Policy

Ensuring that migrant workers are part of the global dialogue on ESG and Business and Human Rights.

Our sister organisation

ReAct aims to build on the knowledge, skills, and expertise of The Remedy Project to pursue our mission and vision.

The Remedy Project is the sister organisation of ReAct and is a Hong Kong-based social enterprise that works to combat exploitation in global supply chains.

  • The Remedy Project aims to revolutionise how migrant workers access remedies within global supply chains. It helps businesses prevent and rectify ESG-related issues in their supply chains with a goal to improve compliance with labour standards for workers, meet business needs, and support lasting change for better work environments.

  • The Remedy Project works with businesses, workers NGOs and trade unions to develop and improve remediation mechanisms to redress labour grievances for fair, effective and enduring positive outcomes.

The Remedy Project also works closely with UN agencies, international NGOs, ASEAN, and Governments and policymakers across South-East Asia to improve human trafficking and forced labour laws and policies, conduct in-depth research, and conduct capacity building for lawyers, law enforcement, and practitioners across Asia.

  • ReAct’s projects are designed with reference to research conducted by The Remedy Project on business and human rights and their expertise of trafficking in persons, forced labour and other forms of exploitation.

Our programs are made to disseminate knowledge from The Remedy Project to civil society organisations and worker led organisations in the ASEAN region.
