ReAct stands for “Resilience in Action” – our vision is to achieve a world with fair and decent work for all.

About Us

ReAct is a Hong Kong-registered charity established in 2021 and sister organisation of The Remedy Project.

Through its various programs, ReAct works towards a vision to achieve a world with fair and decent work for all. Our programs are worker centred. We work with civil society groups and migrant worker-led organisations in the ASEAN region to pursue this goal.

Our Mission

ReAct’s mission is to improve working conditions and support the legal empowerment of workers to enforce their rights and access remedy.

Our Work

Migrant workers, as rights holders, are at the heart of the ecosystem of remedy. But in too many cases, remedy is not available for migrant workers who are harmed by business activities. At ReAct, our work is centred around three core programs that contribute towards improving accountability and access to remedy.

We equip migrant workers, grassroots advocates, and women peer leaders with the knowledge and tools to understand their rights and avenues to access remedy, advocate for fair treatment, and support their peers.

Legal Empowerment

We work with legal advocates, civil society groups, and worker-led organisations to push for real accountability and pursue effective worker-driven remedy.

Access to Remedy

We aim to capture insights from workers on challenges and their perspectives on solutions and bridge the gaps constructively with businesses.
